Practice Test

A 20 minute practice in which we go through every situation the driver will see on the real test with an explanation of how the grading is done. This service makes you eligible for the Maverick Customers Road Test price. The student must have a valid Texas permit. This is a nonrefundable fee.
Road Test - Existing Maverick Students
$100.00
This price is for anyone who has purchased a previous Maverick service including: practice test, full program, drive times, private drives or online programs. Must have a valid TEXAS permit. Nonrefundable fee. Eligible for one free retest or reschedule.
Road Test - First Time Maverick Customers
$125.00
Must have a valid TEXAS permit. Nonrefundable fee. Make sure that you are here 10 minutes before your appointment time.
Road Tests:
$100 for customers who have previously purchased Maverick’s services. $125 for all others.
All road test purchases include a free reschedule/retest if needed.
20 Minute Practice Road Tests: $35
Road testers can use our vehicles if one is available. Otherwise, the student’s vehicle needs to have the following to be authorized to test in according to DPS standards:
- Front and back license plates
- Working brake lights
- Working left and right turn signals for front and back
- A working horn
- Passenger door must be able to open and close
- Seatbelts
Road Test Checklist:
- Texas Permit and DE 964
- Impact Video Certificate
- If under 18 or if driver’s ed was done through Maverick, a parent is required to sign paperwork
